ROASTED HERB TURKEY Herbes de Provence
1 twelve pound turkey
2 oranges, sliced
2 large shallots, sliced
½ cup of butter, melted
Herbes de Provence Seasoning
1. Pre-heat oven to 350˚F. Prepare turkey for roasting according to package directions and stuff with shallots and oranges.
2. Melt butter in a small bowl and add a generous portion of Herbes de Provence to almost make a paste consistency, brush all over turkey before roasting. Brush this mixture all over the turkey and roast under a foil tent for 2 hours. Remove the foil and continue cooking until turkey is completely cooked. The skin should be crispy and flavorful …..meat is moist and tender!
