JALAPENO PARTY CHEESE BALL Jalapeno Cilantro, Oh So Garlic!

Serves 12 or more as an hors d’oeuvre

1 cup cottage cheese
2 oz cream cheese
½ cup sour cream
½ tsp salt
2 tsp ,Jalapeno Cilantro Seasoning
1 tablespoons Oh So Garlic Seasoning
¾ cup heavy whipping cream, divided
¼ cup chopped fresh chives
1 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 garlic cloves, crushed
coarsely ground black pepper
4. Mix together the sour cream with the reserved ¼ cup of the cream and the Oh so Garlic Seasoning mix and pour it over the cheese. Sprinkle the parsley over the cheese. Add a good grinding of coarse black pepper

1. Place the cottage cheese, cream cheese & Jalapeno Cilantro Seasonng in a food processor. Pulse to blend. Add the salt to taste. Reserve ¼ cup of the whipping cream and whip the remainder till it holds firm peaks. Fold the cheese mixture into the cream, 1/3 at a time.
2. Place the mixture into the center of a 16” square of cheesecloth or a clean fine linen or cotton handkerchief. Wrap up the corners and the sides and tie them together making a ball of the cheese. Set the whole in a sieve over a bowl and leave overnight to drain any juices.
3. To serve, remove the cheese in its cheesecloth from the sieve. Untie the cheesecloth and invert the cheese onto a serving platter, removing the cheesecloth as you do so.
