Steam artichokes for about 15 minutes, then cut in half through the stem. Remove the choke with a spoon, scraping out any remaining florets. Brush the cut side with oil and season with salt & pepper. Grills cut side up for 10 minutes, flip and grill for an additional 5 minutes.
